1998 Luxembourg Grand Prix Print
1998 Luxembourg Grand Prix Print
Every once in a while, the schedule of the world championship requires promoters to get a bit creative in their sense of geography. In 1997, the Nürburgring, which had previously hosted the European Grand Prix, gave up the name so that it could be used for a new race in Jerez, leaving promoters to launch the Luxembourg Grand Prix as a stand-in promotion, as the the small country is just 70 miles from the circuit. By the return race in 1998, the naming solution had already run it's course, and in 1999 the race returning under the European Grand Prix moniker. To celebrate this quirk in grand prix history, we designed a print featuring the iconic GP-Strecke layout in red set against blue & white stripes, all in the colors of the Luxembourg flag.
Our Grand Prix design is inspired by the mid-century aesthetic that dominated the early days of formula racing & has been designed with an eye towards bringing your love of racing into any space. Printed on premium thick, durable, matte paper & available both framed & unframed.
